Basic Life Support (BLS) Blended Learning Course

    $110.00

The HeartCode BLS Blended Learning course combines online learning and in-person skills practice to get certified in basic life support skills. It uses a personalized online program that adapts the learning for each student. The blended learning course allows flexibility in learning compared to traditional BLS classes with set schedules.

The course consists: Online training (30 mins - 3 hrs) + skills test (20 mins - 1 hr)

The online part of the training teaches BLS concepts through different learning methods like case studies, interactive activities, and videos. This covers skills for one rescuer and team efforts. Healthcare providers can learn at their own pace and apply the knowledge through real-life decision-making simulations. They get feedback after skills tests and activities.

After the online portion of the training, students do an in-person skills assessment using special mannequins that provide audio and visual feedback in real-time. This allows students to practice and test their BLS skills. Once both parts are completed, students earn their BLS provider certification through the American Heart Association. Continuing education credits, 4 CEUs/CMEs are also available.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Blended Learning Course

    $290.00

The HeartCode ACLS blended learning course is a blended program of online and in-person learning to get certified in advanced cardiac life support skills. Like the BLS course, it uses a personalized online platform that adapts to each student’s needs. This allows for more flexible scheduling compared to the traditional ACLS Classes.

The course consists: Online training (30 mins - 3 hrs) + skills test (20 mins - 1 hr)

The online portion teaches ACLS knowledge and skills through videos, illustrations, interactive activities, and simulations. Students learn at their own pace and apply the knowledge to real-life decision-making scenarios. They receive immediate feedback after knowledge checks and simulation activities.

After completing the online part, students do an in-person skills assessment using specialized mannequins that provide real-time audio and visual feedback. The blended learning module allows students to practice and test their ACLS abilities in real-time. Once both the online and in-person parts are done, students earn their ACLS certification from the American Heart Association. Continuing Education credits, 4 CEUs/CMEs are also available after the completion of the training.
